Mark! But howwwwww, there a few ways to get more lock, but my guess is youve done it the best way, whatever that is, lol.....
On SX's you dont need to do anything majorly drastic as there is plenty of spare teeth either end of the rack etc etc, presuming Sierras are similarly simple.
Get a 7.5in open Ford diff (Granadas is it that use em?) and get someone to weld it up, shouldnt cost more than 50quid once its off the car.
No point doing it to a LSD diff.
IIRC Mike Rainbird used one on his old 500bhp Saff for a while.

The reason I choose R+D over Gripper (on Cosworths, not everything), is that the Gripper uses a modified (shortened and drilled) STANDARD driveshaft flange. These aren't strong to start with, let alone after drilling...
Both the Quaife and the R+D use their own flanges, so as an overall package these two are STRONGER.
They are obviously two totally different types of diff, and I will always make my reccomendation based on customer requirements / driving style / available funds / etc.

Many thanks.
Many thanks.
Gripper £720.00 + flange mods + vat
Quaife £685.00 + vat including flanges
R+D £1250.00 + vat including flanges and large bore side bearings
