I think the pole needs more realistic answers like walking away, getting the doorman, who after all are paid to defuse a fight, Plenty of other options IMO.
Then again, each situation is different so until we are in the situation then we cant really comment as a lot of people do things on the spur of the moment.

Very feminine The ONLY girls I've ever seen fighting out in towns on nights out are stupid little chavvy bints who can't handle their drink, and reckon themself as some sort of 90s style ladette.
Now I'm not saying that either of you are like that in the slightest, as I know Helen isn't, BUT.............. if you didn't want the fight, why push them back?
You had other options, as Chip says - walk away and don't get involved, and you would have had a great evening ......... unless you consider fighting a great evening!

One thing l will say now lm totally behind wat happened to Faye and Helen and the way l see it is.
1) Helen and Faye was started on they did nothing to start that and was looking out for them selfs, now yes they could of walked away but what happens if you turn your back to some silly girl that had drinks with a bottle in her hand. Well im glad Faye and Helen did what they did or it might have been complettly diffrent and l could be posting Fay and Helen went to hospital
Sorry but think the stupid girls was out to have a fight they just picked the wrong girls. Maybe they will think diffrent next time or they might meet another Gangster Bitch and Northern Lass that wont take any shite

i would put my hand through his head but i am on 12 month suspended sentance for fighting so i have to behave ,i would take the prick where no one will see me smash his head in, i think you must allways stand your ground and fight if you have to if get beat up, you get beat up, you still got your pride, but if you can handle your self then you knock him out and he will think twice before he kicks off again, dont be scared of enyone i love it when someone comes at you goes i your face and starts talking to you with words like COME ON THEN its a sign of weakness i wont say enything i just put them on there arse.

Now, i do doorwork at the weekends for an extra bit of pocket money, and to be absolutely honest - it should never get to the point where you're exchanging punches.
Decent venues with decent doorstaff should have intervened at the point of pushing and by the point the drink was thrown...
I've never started a fight in a club - but i've certainley ended a few!
But - if you are provoked - defend yourself

At the end of the day u ant going to let some 18 year old girls trying to ruin ur night.
