Default HELP FROM SPAIN. Turbo loss preasure....

After a time going fast with the car, I see the Turbo lossing preassure, getting to 0,2 - 0,1 bar.... But, after about 10-15 seconds, the car is again pusshing the full boost...

It´s an ERST S2 90´s spec, and this totally stock, not where it can be the problem, and the people from here of Spain, are not able to find it... Can anyone help me? Somebody him step somewhat seemed?

Thanks, and happy new year!!!

Dave have you replaced the Actuator on the turbo? They go soft when there old and they cause the turbo to stop producing the boost it once did.

I `think` the arm on the saff one is too long I`m afraid.. A new actuator should cost you about Ł60

As Rudey says - collapsing boost hoses, a well know problem - some free samco would help eliminate this anyway.

dont sound to me like the ama;l valve needs replacing as it seems to be doing its job by cutting boost if that is the problem i would look for what is causing the amal valve to cut the boost

you can take the amal valve out and replace it with a bleed valve tho alot of people prefer the amal valve as it is a safety device
