Dewlap Infection Help
My Cocker Spaniel has a Dewlap Infection on the bottom of her chin. We noticed it about 1month ago and didnt do much about it, but now it's really red raw and pussy n smelly Was wondering if your pets have ever had it and what did you do to cure it? I will be going to the vet but wanna know if theres a cure for it 1st to save me Money etc...
Please help.. James

That's totally irresponsible not doing anything for a month!
If it's sore and has puss - it means it's infected and only a course of antibiotics from the vet will cure it.

TCP, rub it on and it go's away no bother. We have a west highland terrier and took to vets for tablets but when they ran out it came back so tried the TCP idea and it worked a treat and hasnt come back.
Also give the area a right good scrub when you shower your dog, we use baby shampoo lol
