Right so it's Arcade mode where I can find the escos then???
Using the ring is a great idea seeing as so many of us are going next year. It'll be a great way of learning (plus i've done 700+ laps on gt4(not got much to do in the evenings!))

So have I and yes it is surprising, PS2 has a progressive(not as good as XBOX though) button system. But it is too short in throw really yes. Try anyway, Im sure its beatable, post your times up as you get them. I would practice without the slicks and wing first, get a feel for the beast from blackpool, best time will be a joke trust me just those two mods gave me 90secs off my best standard car time

Resist the urge mattbibs, but it makes sense, entry to long straight crucial, it only has 154mph top speed though, its all out of puff at 130 and 6500rpm really, understeers to F### and skittish oversteer on brakes which i quite liked.

Yep, well up for this, I have a standard but fully set up Escos ready for this challenge.
Check out the games section here as I set a different GT4 challenge a little while ago if you fell like having a go at a different challenge aswell, and all my challenges are on the Ring, there just isnt another track compareble.

Just pulled a 7:14.812 on my 3rd lap, room for improvement.
It is a tad boring as the car isnt very fast, but still a good crack to have a go at setting the benchmark.
Personally I like using road cars without downforce and the extra lightness.
