Default DASH CLOCKS

If i purchased a set of dash clocks off a zx10r or some thing along those lines with the full wiring, could someone make it work in a car ?? Im thinking the new r6 clocks would look lovely with the huge rev counter in the middle.

erm,,,,,,,,,, thats a great plan

you ever seen bike clocks mate, the first 7k is the same space as a cars clocks to 2k

so you aint never gonna see the rev counter

not to mention the 9krpm idea you got

just fit a busa engine to your car mate, sorted

i would love a set of stack clocks but cost is a tad high,

i know how bike clocks look just thought it would be a cheaper option, im only trying bro.

Anyway ive got to build my engine first, i may just end up sticking in a st170 lump, ll ready got a gear box from one.

the elliot one in the picture above is only about 130quid, pretty cheap for a reliable accurate rev counter

which is what you want

You can do it with a simple small electronic reducer which reduces the pulses seen by the rev counter. For example for every 4 it see's it sends out 1 - this is then used for the trigger wire for the clocks. Obviously only works on electronic dashes which I think the one your talking of is.

You then stick a new calibrated dial face on the gague
