your prob better findig a local dealer,
if you want alarm and immobiliser thatcham, you'll want the cat 1 ai606.

we normally charge around £270 - £300 fitted (depending on the car) just so you got an idea mate.
but then you can have extras added too ..... remote start, pager, boot pop, windows up AND down, turn on lights or neons,

As brookesy said above (cheers ) I am an authorised Toad supplier/fitter. You are miles from me so price wise you are best off going to a local alarm shop. I can do a 'supply only' on the alarm but unfortunately cannot issue a Thatcham Certificate.

Cheers
Chris

Anti- Hijack device that cuts the engine out after 30 seconds if your keys are stolen or you are pulled from the car. Allowing you to call the police and your car won't be too far away. Hopefully.

Pass on that, came as standard on my alarm.

Black Jax is a Clifford thing, not sure if it can be added to another alarm make.

might sound like a stupid question but how would your car know if you had been pulled from your car?

also how would you know if your car had blackjaxx already?

is it something obvious?

Isn't blackjax just an anti-hijack system... if so the Toad Ai606 has it anyway.

My alarm fitter will transfer the alarm from car to car for £100... one of our alarms has been on 3 different cars so far and is about to go onto another one... each time we get a new lifetime warranty and a certificate for the ruddy insurance company as they all seem to be so obsessed with them these days!

The alarm knows when a door has been opened, and everytime you have to punch in a code, or all fucking hell will break loose. Black Jaxx will be in the ECU settings of the alarm. On Cliffords it can be turned on and off with the wizard software and a laptop.

thats correct, but the toad anti hijack is built in, but it just locks all the doors automatically when you get in and turn the ignition on to stop the teefs openin the door at lights etc, also has auto re-arm and lock, but dont worry.... it wont lock ya keys in, it knows when the doors been opened and wont lock it self after that.

thats no anti hijack, thats just doors auto locking.

BLACKJAX

Carjacking Response & Vehicle Recovery System. BlackJax is Clifford’s unique anti-carjacking response system that puts personal safety first while using innovative advancements to ensure that users can recover the vehicle themselves. If an armed car thief approaches – immediately turn over the keys and remote and let Clifford technology take over. BlackJax is fully automatic: no buttons or transmitters to push. Just get away from the vehicle. BlackJax allows the criminal to drive away a safe distance. Then, a few seconds later, blares the siren and flashes the lights to alert other drivers and witnesses. It then pulses down the ignition system to safely force the vehicle to slow to a complete stop. Siren blaring and lights flashing, unable to restart the engine, the carjacker has no choice but to abandon the vehicle. BlackJax offers immediate vehicle self-recovery. With the vehicle immobilized a short distance away, the owner can recover it. No special tracking units, monthly fees or per-use charges. Just follow the sound of the BlackJax siren, then enter the PIN code. That’s it – it’s sabotage-proof. The only way to turn off BlackJax is with a secret user-selectable PIN code. If the carjacker tries guessing codes at random, BlackJax actively ignores his code entries for the next few minutes. Even if he were to find and remove the BlackJax control unit, he would still be unable to restart the engine. That’s Clifford technology you can count on.
