Rossi only 1.5 secs slower round Ferrari's test track than Schumacher, so he could beat the Stig in a Mini

if youre using that video as a comparison, youre in effect comparing the 911 to the Cooper S which is a slight miss match.

they done a similar test on top gear i think it was recently, murcielago/gallardo vs ducatti and that was a draw if i remember correctly.

im not sure of the layout at Brands but i would still go with the R1.

Rossi should romp it against the mini........

The Clio cup cars are doing 52.88 and i reckon they are fairly well matched with the mini,While the Superstock R1`s are doing 47.7(std motor with slightly uprated suspension)

Wouldnt fare so well against something proper quick though.....911`s are doing 47.7 too......

how can you go with the bike when most tests have proved that the car with better traction around a small circuit has won!!

would be interesting though around Brands. Maybe get Top Gear to do it using Shakey instead of Rossi around Brands vs The Stig. One of the car programmes did BTCC Honda Civic vs Supersport CBR600RR round Donnington ( i think it was National circuit) and that was close. The car won i think.
