I've got the Martini Focus which was a Tamiya kit cost £160 for the kit and bought it from a toy store in Merry Hill.
You can modify them after you've built them. Only problem i've had was the speed contoller sticking but rectified that by fitting an electronic 1.
No pics unfortunately and i think i've got it fitted with an RX7 shell now with flip paint work

Tamiya ones can be modified later, engines, suspension, gearing.

Remember you need a controller, batteries and a charger on top of the £85.

Yes
Though I wouldnt get it from this seller at £90. Find a decent ish model shop and they might be able to get one for you from the importers

give hurricane models a try paul its right on your doorstep , and also hobby stores , hertford rd enfield, all helpful guys and the more people you speak to the better, good luck and dont forget to show us what you buy. I bought a stadium truck and it is so fooking quick and just enough to blow the doors off a cossie

OK I went to Models in Motion in Stevenage and they had a load of the models but I didn't realise you could get pre-made Petrol versions and the shells from the electric ones fit so I bought a petrol version but only had a choice of Subaru or Citroen so opted for the Subaru.
Gonna hunt down a Escort shell and get it painted up etc
Not had a go yet but primed the engine and started it up in the kitchen fooking stank! Can't wait till the tarmac dries up

what make is it by the way and what size engine.

I've found that life I needed.. It's HERE!!
I have a Schumacher SST with a cosworth body on it, unfortunatley Tamiya stoped doing the EsCos with whaletail a few years ago, but if you manage to find one it will cost 40quid at least :S

the chassis is a belt driven 4wd, double wishbone carbon fibre affair, was awesomely quick, but probably not so much anymore

Nah, mines 1/10 but i used to rally it indoors at tiverton RC club, get some awesome drifts in the compacted sand, would like another shell cos that one is a bit battered, but tamiya dont make am any more and if you find one its like 40 odd quid, might make that one into a mould and then vacuum form some more.
actually, Petermintrst - i think the TAo2 chassis is how i managed to get my sheel, one of my friends bought the chassis but wanted it built with the impeza shell so the guy put the EsCos body up for sale, glad i got in there 1st cos in the flesh they look great, so detailed!!!

I took some pics then left my camera at work so if anyone wants any piccies pm me and i'll send em over
Tamiya TL01 with escort cossie body (body not great) with radio gear and a car charger. the battery cover is missing on the reciever. Boxed. Requires batteries for car and reciever. £40
Tamiya Blackfoot with grip style radio gear in good condition (few cracks on badyshell) new tyres as above no batteries dous have charger £45
HPI Racing RTR3 Evo Nitro car mercedez bodyshell. This is brand new never been used still has stickers on top of engine. I brought this off a friend earlier in the year but never used it either as I have another two. Comes with pull start, trigger radio gear, fuel, filler bottle & glow starter all boxed. £140 (provisionly sold)
http://www.hpiracing.com/index2.htm
1/8th scale thunder tiger nitro car complete with radio gear glow plug and fuel. body is a subaru and is brand new.
Bad points I was using this then left for a few months and now its realy hard to turn over engine so might require a new one. £50
I would prefer pick up on these and will not post fuel anyway, but I don't trust the post however will consider posting at your own risk.
All apart from now the subaru are in excellent working order and as stated just require batteries I still have another 3 battery ones with only 2 batteries myself thats why theres no batteries with them.
I am in North London 2 mins from j4 M1
