fooking awesome! we had our first one in at work on friday, its amazing.

so smooth... reminds me of an evo. just feels so incredibly well built.

havent driven an ST, so cant compare, but i rate it over the rx-8 or mx-5!

the part i like is its understated, got a nice looking leather trim as standard ( japs seem to have sorted that handicap thank fook )

bose stereo system as standard too and its a saloon and quite understated

seems cheep too imo

not sure on the wheels BUT has decent tyres on it ( but like the focus has shite brakes)

its got 4wd BUT its a active dif system so its fwd UNTIL you need AWD

the focus is a nice idea but has a old engine in it , shiter that shite wheels , 4 seats in the only model worth getting , shite brakes

and its ugly as sin, seriously ive got both at my place and the MPS does look the tits, there are a few faults i found though

the exhaust tail pipes are actually trims and the exhaust is a tiny bore, looks wank when you notice it but could be a reason to release horses i supose

oh and the bee sting ariel at the back of the roof looks like a CB ariel

but its just like a saph cossie, subtle but very comfy inside

gonna take it for a spin on wednesday as im sure its gonna be dead so will tell ya about the road test to compare

Bose make a wide range of stereos. Not just high end stuff. Buy an Audi and you'll get one, hardly a rareity in cars over £20K, so try and get over it. It won't make the Country n Western you listen to sound good

Oh and that is 1 ugly car. Too many creases and lines and shoulders. And that grille!

mate no offence but i have a full bose stereo system in my front room, ive never heard a shite system by em at all but the only bose stereo i heard in a car was a 350z and that seemed fine to me

my am5's and my 301's are fooking class speakers so thats why i assumed that it would be better than most of the jap cars offerings

so 1 person dead against

im just getting ideas and comparing it to the mazda stuff aswell as the other stuff thats similer

looks as little evoish to me btw

rich i dread to hear what you think about the new focus st then

and you drive a E30 M3,,,,,,,,,, thats not a good looking car bay any standard, just look at the E36

bit like a the old civic and the new

2 that are against then

pease compare to what else is about for 23k though and see the offering

i do worry about the holding its money but then need to see how tuneable it is,

problem with mazda parts you cant even guess the price as a average

had a enquiry for a throttle body for a mazda 6 i think it was, said its prob about 100 quidish as thats what ford average

THE FUCKING PRICE WAS 1600 QUID !!!

and the fucking mazda 6 wheel at 206 inc vat,,,,,,,,,,,,AND A 200 QUID SURCHARGE ON WHEELS , 406 QUID

but they do look nice imo

New ST is colour dependent, mate of mines got a Orange one on order. I think hes MAD. Blue or Black would be my choice.

As for my car, no its not a great looker today. Bit slab sided. But thats the design of the thing. Its not creases and flaired arches just for the hell of it. They are there because it makes the car better. A wider track for a reason, a different angle rear screen for a reason. A spolier that actually works etc etc

fair point, i was hoping you never knew that

still well ugley and wrong looking in society by todays standards, but it is for a reason so i gotta give the car that, a cracking car too

Its all right, Front grilles a bit narrow, and the rear hatch line is a little shallow. But the rest of the car isnt bad looking. Its got a chunky presence on the road. Its surprisingly big actually.

Wouldn't say its going to be a classic though.
