I know someone that has, he's had all sorts of cars, rari's, lambo's, porker's, astons, bentleys etc etc. IIRC you pay a set amount a year and get to have the car for a weekend or whatever, it all works on a points system and of course is a nice way of getting to drive all of them before purchasing
Sorry, I don't know details but there are obviously places that do this kind of thing....

As Aduz said, loads of places do it. I looked into it aswell.... Normally need to a minium of 3k deposit depending on the car and usually have to be over 25 years old.

My mate used to work for a place that hired out high performance cars, as above, you pay 'x' a year and have a choice of cars... Think it was called Classic Car Club, think they had places all over the place...

Usually cost about £500 a day but mileage is very limited, in the region of 150 miles which doesnt include driving to and from the rental place. They tend to charge you £2 a mile after that.
Oh yeah and the £5k-£10k insurance premium.

My brother-in-law was a member of the Damon Hill P1 club last year, he said it cost 12.5k for a years membership & that was the basic/cheapest package, he could afford it though as he owned a 911 GT3 aswell
He turned up at my house in a Lambo Murchulargo (however you spell it) a bright orange one. We went out for a thrash about & people were just staring at the car
He had loads of cars through the club & it works on a points basis, eg a Porsche 911 is going to use less points than a Lambo. He also borrowed one when he married my sister & turned up to the wedding in a Ferrari 550 marinello & drove off after with all the tin cans attached to the Ferrari's back bumper , wish he still belonged to it so i could get a spin in some more cars.

A friend of mine hired a Ferrari to drive from his wedding to the reception and then drive himself and his wife away at the end of the reception. Not sure what they paid as a deposit but the hire company wouldn't refund it cos they reckoned they're chipped the paint on the car and this was classed as damage, which is what the deposit was for. Very dodgey, can't remember the name of the company though
