why is central day on 23rd of april, who booked it and why didnt you think of it properly

central day is prob THE best show to go to and always a laugh too

its worse than booking it on 25th of december

its the best show to go to as its like a feeler type show and a ALWAYS good for a night out before ect

NOW i either cant go or i need to find a driver as i cant go the whole day without a drink


not to mention that central day is the day of rain too

 

Or it will be like the first 2 shows..........FUCKING HOT

This years was a laugh

 

The problem that has ALWAYS happened with the Central show is that the pod is booked up 18 months in advance..

Therefore when Mike/Gareth booked it, it was a case of -"You can have this date.......Take it or leave it"

But there is always beer on tap at the Pod

 

dont think anyone knows as they was prob on st georges day too i bet

anychance to cancel and rebook as im sure theres enough time to ( and for once this is a serious request, its against peoples religous beliefs)

 

because my car will be ready by then!

we make it a central day TOUR SHOW and have it in malta, can see all the top drag racing cossies and also go to valetta and have a PROPER ST Georges day celebration in a country that RESPECTS and LOVES its passed

thats 1000bhp cossies, sun, great laid back life and also THE best piss up that the 23rd can ever have

they reason why they never belived us was the fact that our group was causing bother to all the neighbours all night


they didnt even care that us lot got there at 1pm but most had been drinking absynth since 9am,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, me and the missus passed out when we was getting ready to get dressed to go out as we thought it was late,,,,,,,,, we went got back in the hotel to get changed at 9pm i think,,,,,,,, next thing i wake up at 9am and was late for the show so got a shite parking spot

BTW can passionford not get the shite show stand near the bins this year


that dont mean locate us on the isle of wight either

Wasn't my big bill. I nearly got chucked out by the receptionist for called her a 'Wentch' cause she wouldn't get the fuck out of my room

I shut the door in her face n she used the master keys to get in again

I chucked her out again and put the draws infront of the door so the wentch didn't get in again. I was laughing so much it hurt and i had to go to sleep

 

that explains the attitude problem i had to deal with then

i just refused to pay and so they threatened the police on me and i got a call from the local old bill saying ive gotta DRIVE ALL THE FUCKING WAY THERE TO BE ARRESTED TO GIVE A STATMENT !!!

i still aint bothered going

As Mark said-

4 years ago in Feburary we went to Santa Pod and asked them if we could put on a show. They more or less laughed at us and said yes pay us lots and lots of money up front and we will watch you fail.
Which is also more or less what the RSOC said too at the time LOL.
Both thought it couldn't be done in such a short time.

I remember after that Santa Pod said same time next year? and how about we help you a bit this time and since then we have had 3 more wicked shows including the one that it rained at.

Now as Mark said Santa pod is booked up at LEAST 12 months in advance so we need to make decisions quickly ALSO we cant have our day booked with the RSOC more than 12 months in advance and we cant have it on the same weekend as other groups and we obviously dont want it too early due to weather issues.

This year Santa Pod gave us 2 dates, one was either late march or early April and 1 was the 23rd.

Guess which one we went for due to the afore mentioned issues.

Sorry if you dont approve but there really isn't a lot of manourverability (is that a word) on this one- Also there is no chance for a change as SP have already done next years calender and sent it out to its mailing list- (or at least they will be shortly as I dont think I have had mine yet.) also we have paid for the day.

We have always tried to do our best for the masses of enthusiasts who come to the show, on this occasion all our hard work seems to have gritted at least one persons teeth... Sorry.

You can't please all the people all of the time BUT you can please some of the people some of the time.


I hope this helps with a few ins and outs and the whys and why nots.
