Yes

Yes

A slightly higher specced Series One, sunroof, electric windows etc.

V5 and VIN number are the best way to tell if it's an original!

Default S1

Most are custom as this ment that you opted for the extra's as said above, none customs are more rare and can be worth more and don't have the extra's.

The Official RSOC website is a good one to vist, they have sections dedicated to the S1 with buyers guide, and tips on what to look out for aswell as havig for sale sections with lots of cars in for sale.

Also worth checking out the resto section on this site, look at all the S1 resto's and be amazed at how a nice looking S1 can actually be a rusted heap underneath. Will give you some very good insite into what to look out for and what to avoid.

A good service history is essential, cars are greatly devalued if the history is poor or missing. Lots of bils and the origianl books with a service book and all old mot's will make for a much better resale value.

Some good advice from Matt there.

If you don't know much about them take along someone who does if you go to view a car.
