Default Mk2 Mondeo interior heater blower probs!

No matter what its set to, the fucking thing now only blows out the front screen de-mister.

Whats up with that?

My feet are getting cold

i think it is a common problem, something to do with the control board in the pass footwell i think, just do a quick serach on here as i am sure its been mentioned before

I got the same problem with my Mondeo, got told it is a common problem. My Air Conditioning don't work either..

ive not checked if the aircon still works as its fuckin freezing, but the heaters work at all speeds, just blow at window only!

after a while your face/head is so hot you want to turn the blowers off, but your body isnt that warm, and your feet are still freezing

was fine until i fitted a different headunit in the car, seemed to happen at same time...

PROOF, modifying your car makes it totally unreliable no matter what

The direction control system is operated via tubes by vaccuum looks like you've got a pipe off or leak somewhere.

sounds like one of the control pipes has split or come adrift at the back of the control panel, the system is vacuum controlled so it needs a supply of "air" to work, remove the radio/heater surround then remove the 3 heater controls and check all the connections for leaks(with the engine running!!)

Ello m8, how many mondy's you got now? I'm down to 3 just bought a MK1 Si thats going to be a track car, have you been on the Langbaurgh cart track since they extended it and allowed cars on?

yes m8, I have 5 mondysat the mo and have just recently sold a mk1 si track car!!! doh..went for 150 quid have now bought an xr4x4 track car

here are some pics of our track night in july at teeside autodrome, my old mondy is on track aswell as my cossie..
