Default COMP brake kits

are these a track/competition brake setup or are they ok for everyday use
only i just seen them in the cosworth parts for sale just wondered if anyone has had any experience of them?

what sort of waranty do they come with I'm a little sceptical as they seem cheap in a "too good to be true" kinda way

Warranty in terms of what ?

It's a self fit part so warranty is only against faulty product workmanship or goods etc as per the norm.

Try searching for other threads on here about them and have a read if your in any doubt.

Cheers bud so what price are the kits then? will 330mm fit under 17" wheels and how much are the six pots??

I've got them front and rear. Done 3 track days and 3000 odd miles road use including rain salt and snow. They're working spot on and look spot on.

I recommend them and NUTS RuS (Tony) who supplied them .

Strange that mk3cosworth as the 6 pots are not fully ready yet

So wont even be priced up for Fords

well ive had a set a few month ago,(they went straight back) you ring steve and ask pal, they were really bad quality, i found anyway and the ap`s i got from martin were alot better

A few months back the COMPBRAKE 6 pots were still in the prototype stage, and certainly hadn't been over to the labs for independant testing, so maybe you did right back then

As long as your happy now

I have said it before .... If I had AP money I would have them too

yes mate it was the calipers that were the big problem
