Gotta say i really love the RS500... That would be the one for me... Although it wouldn't be long before the eight injectors were up and running and a boost hike...

Car was never built for the track as it was desighed to be the perfect road going cosworth with as much driveabilty as possalbe
As 95% of cosworths are used For the road.

As the car was re desighed by a touring car engineer / race driver that built loads of RS500 race cars etc and prob one of the best all time british BTCC drivers so it has a bit of pedigree/heritage IMO

Every added extra there for a reason and does the job a lot better. not just a tacky bodykit and diffrent seats as some peeps see it.

yeah but DOO it wasnt a general cosworth, it was a dealer after market kit was it not, you bought one and then it was shipped to andy rouse and had nothing to do woth ford

i would say a rwd escos woth no upper spoiler,,,,,,,, well actuall fletchs cossie but rear wheel drive

then a monte ( note thats a proper ford made cossie )

if there the most wanted cossies then why are there soo many white saph cossies about

does that mean that when the real people spending there cash was about for the new cars then the most favorite one was a white saph cossie

depends on what for, as a daily driver i guess the saph as its more practical

as a hooligan toy an escos is no good as i would break the box and get through clutches all the time, same for a 4wd saph. rs500 is a bit of a waste if you are going to risk sticking it into a hedge or something, so that rules that one out too

for a bufty car i guess an escos or 500 as spahs are 2 common and 3 doors are outshone by rs500's.

So for me my choices would be:

AS A DAILY DRIVER:
Rwd Saph with leather

AS A HOOLIGAN TOY:
3 door or Rwd saph

AS A BUFTY CAR:
escos or rs500

So as an all rounder, and espeically in terms of what interests me more (ive no interest in concours etc), then its got to be a Rwd Saph i reckon
