a mate of mine wants to fit xenon lights to his 318i is this a very expensive conversion who does it whats involved

A real hid conversion is about £500, not worth it imo

I got mine off this bloke, it's a H4 Hi lo kit and works very well. This auction isn't for hi/low though but you can contact him through it!!!

Done HID on my 3dr, looks proper awesome.

Took me a while to do it properly, buy looks factory.

I also used projector lamps, not just the bulbs

Bought a set for the saph which I havent fitted yet. If you do it look at all the options.

Bare in mind that H4 bulbs work in a dipped beam and main beam state but not all HID kits do. Some make up for Main beam by including a halogen bulb which light up when in main beam.

The kit I've got actually physically moves the bulb (using magnets I think) into a main beam position.
