Depends on what size. We cut -3 for brake lines with a pair of sharp snips. If you are talking -10, -12 then put insulation tape around where you want to cut and then do it with a sharp hacksaw

As above, wrap some tape around it and attack with a hacksaw.

No matter what you do it will still prick your fingers and hurt like hell

smaller stuff I use a sharp chissel, metal surface and 1 good smack with a hammer.

Amazing what a clean cut you get.

Wrap tape around it and cut it with a grinder with a stainless steel cutting disk fitted which is quite thing, you get a really good clean cut. Rick

take it to a hydraulic hose place after u have measured it, they have mint cutting gear
