if you earn Ł52k a year what mortgage could that get me ????
and if i add Ł18k of the missus money what would that get etc

Currently renting at Ł925 a month for a nice 4 bed detatched house

shings if you reliably finish early then get another job aswell!!

it may be worth using your free time to build a time machine to take you back 5 years! thats when I bought mine on 14k a year aged 20. I sold it for over double the price I paid would be a nightmare to afford the same house if i was starting from scratch. certainly dont envy you. good luck though.

also PMSL at tiffs taxation logic!!
with overtime it looks like you give it all to the tax man as the rest of your wages and tax on it is lessened with the allowances and 10% bracket... when you see 22% + increased NI taken off you it really does drop your take home hourly rate on overtime.

but im staff paid now so fookit I stay for free can't get much lower rate than that!!

nice to live in norway then have about 97k in loans and pay 680Ł in mortage in 15 years

a lot.i earn around 35k a years and pay 36% of that in tax.have tax for just about everything here

Nige about similar to what i said to Dave...around 210-215 id say mate! Based on only a 10k deposit. If you had a big deposit you could borrow more! Maybe 230-240k
