FRST - E-Dis 4 wire question.
Hi All
Currently working on a Fiesta turbo running Ofab and found one of the cables on the E-Dis 4 connector is not connected to anything.
The wire in question is the second wire in from the driver side, so if you were standing in front of the car with the E-Dis 4 connector pluged in its the second wire in (Yellow and Green) does anyone know were it has to be connected to?
Thanks in advance
Bobby

EDIS Module Terminal Pin numbers
PIP (EDIS output signal) 1
IDM (diagnostic signal to ECU) 2
SAW (ECU spark control signal) 3
IGN GND (signal return) 4
VRS - (crank sensor negative) 5
VRS +(crank sensor positive) 6
VRS shield (crank sensor shield) 7
VPWR (ignition switched 12 volts) 8
PWR GND 9
COIL 1 (coil drive) 10
CTO (clean tach out) 11
COIL 2 (coil drive) 12
You will find pin numbers 1 and 12 clearly marked on the edis module
itself. Can remeber which way round it is installed in the car.
Can you tell me which number it is ?

Thanks Simon for the info
I dont actually have the car in front of me at the mo so I'll have to get back to u regarding pin number.
Someone has suggested that the ecu loom may well be of a xr2i and someone has modded it to work with the ofab ecu and part of the mod is to disconnect pin 2.
Just for info really would u know why u dont need pin 2 connected if someone has modded the xr2i loom to run ofab?
Thanks for your help
