Check out the turbos, look like EECIV EscCos or Rover Tomcat T25s, internal gate with the dumpvalve inbuilt to the compressor housings.

To safely and reliably accelerate to 400km/h, the Veyron makes use of custom-designed Michelin tyres, which utilise what has termed the Pax system. As Said, the car is a feat of engineering!! Ok you can get a 1000bhp out of a modded motor like a Skyline, but look how much work and maintaince they need. This has to last and is a road car

Now VW actually are building it how reliable it will actually be?

Also didnt JC said some parts of it was made in the UK?

Its eight litre tho Rhys, its like a Cossie engine running at 250bhp, course its not stressed, thats less bhp per litre than most modern performance cars.

125bhp a litre, should bloody last 100k+

Saw this on top gear and JC said that they were running a loss building this car as each one cost £5m to build, but i didnt catch how much it costs to buy one?
