Sparco harness bars??? Good idea?
Saw these on another site and would like em for my car but they are not available for seirras yet as far as i am aware.

I like the idea of these for my saff as i can run my harnesses and still retain the back seats for normal use - good for going to the ring etc. Also I think the angle of the harness is better than if you use eye bolts from the rear as you are not putting any weight on the seat if you have an oops.
Can be constructed to go on existion seat belt location bolts so v eay to fit etc
This would be a good project for someone like ZOO or hauser racing etc as a simple to constuct product - I just want it made at a v cheap price so i can get one might have one made for myself local anyway.
Only thing is rear passagers travelling forward in a crash - if belted would they hit it?
Cheers for input

Testing the future
that does look like a good idea
good link nice one
will be dead easy to do on a sapph especially, being 4 door it won't affect those in the back at all. they wouldn't hit it in a crash if they had their belt on, if if they didn't it's better that that bar stops them than your seat/you. it would be like a spike in the middle of the steering wheel - far safer than an airbag cos you'd definitely put your belt on and not want to hit anything too fast.
might knock one of these up one day, now that you've given me the idea.
