Default Saff Cossie headlights

Heard they don't make them any more! Is this correct??

Mine keeps steaming up all the time

Use a hairdrier to get all the water out then seal it again but comes back after a week or so of shite weather.

Are they different to a normal sierra? I.e a non-cossie one?

Help Help Help!

you can fit normal sierra lights, just trim the plastic where the grille is and sorted

have you tried to put some sealer on the foam? it might be getting in through there
then again, if you'ev got a hole thats not plugged in the back of the light the water might be getting in through there as well, make sure the plastic seals against itself wheere the bulbs go in too

It all seals ok just think as they are 15 years old the old seals might be buggered!

So thenormal headlight can fit in then with a bit of chopping.........What about the black metal bar that the wiper sits on...Can this be attached somehow to a new headlight?

Do like the look of new headlights, might improve my shonky light vision in the dark aswell

see on the left?
there is a big bit of plastic that sticks out?
you chop the bottom section away so you are left with just the top bit
when you remove the old headlights (or even just the grille from the cossie) everything makes sense

and all the headlights are basicly the same so they'll have the bits at the bottom to slide the wiper mechanisms into

Matt the glass is avalable from fords still at the price of 32.11 each

as for the seat just use butyl tape for a proper seal, just be tidy with it and all probs will be solved

seems like the only way forward is to order two new lights from fords for £150 quid,

order two new lights from this copy place for 90 quid or order two new glass bits from this sel place for 40 quid

the reason why im askin all this is because my drivers side light has got a lovely hole in it from the M1 lol

two more options, ask paul @ north yorks if he has any mint ones or wait until i can meet up with gracie and buy them off him but its the meeting up with him thats difficult lol,

gonna try remoco tommorow and see if there open yet

cheers for lookin ginge

matt
