Anybody from around Durham way
Do you know of any good estate agents or website to look at relating to property up there just having a nosey for a friend,

Depends what you want really, i'll try and find some websites
I have heard Durham Uni is a good Uni to study at, never been there myself, not sure what the student accomodation is like, although they were building new student flats that looked alright.

The uni is very good. Has a bit of a reputation for accepting the oxford and cambridge rejects but that wouldn't bother me.
As someone else has said, it can be a very expensive place to live.
Tell me which area you are thinking of and I'll tell you what I know about it.
Reeds rains are very poor in my opinion as are the big chains such as halifax. Try Bairstow Eves, Derwentside Estates or Harrington Brown if you are looking for places in the County within reasonable travelling distance of the Uni. They all have websites.
