Took the RS out last night and every time I break it makes a funny noise.

It sounds like when kids have a piece of cardboard flicking on their bicycle spokes, i had a look around but nothing seems to be making contact with the wheels, and it only happens when you use the break pedal.

Any ideas before I take it to be checked over???

a stone gotten in between the pads maybe?, how about a recording of the sound

have you drilled or grooved discs mate???

they make a whirring sound.

Yes grooved and drilled, pads and discs are in really good condition, does this make a difference??

how loud is the noise??

You can just about hear it with the window up, but can clearly hear it with it down. It also slows with the motion of the wheels i.e. as you slow down the noise slows down, and towards a stop it doesn't make any noise loud enought to hear.
