Fook! this is what me n the mrs heard then! We were about 15 miles away near Aylesbury.

Fooking was a loud bang, again sounding like someone banging the door, but her old's have just had a big tv and sound system installed and we thought it was her old chap putting the tv on as it was up loud from the night before so just wen't back to bed

Noticed the M1 was still closed tonight on my way home

i fucking work there!! the firm i work for is about quarter of a mile from fuel depot on the maylands industrial estate.i only ever park my lorry there at weekends lol! they reckon might not be allowed on estate for three fucking days (self employed so no work no money!).i live twnty miles from hemel,heard the fucking bang though!!!! my missus shit herself,said it sounded like the time i crashed a car into our house

diamonds, we used to have an old mk1 xr2,and just as i bought it we had a really cold snap, so not knowing how much(if any) antifreeze was in it i thought it a good idea to move it right up against the house!!an error of judgement ensued lol!car wasnt damaged though

my dad was up at 4 am watching the cricket and heard the bang - he thought my mum fell out of bed

I was at a friends farmhouse on the outskirts of Northampton, and we heard the first blast!

It was just after 6am and it freaked us out as we'd been awake for quite a while at that point, it shook the house, the curtains blew inwards (windows were shut) and it was like an odd rumble noise.
We all looked at each other and said "what the fook was that?!".
We put it down to a minor earthquake or a fighter jet going over.

We didnt switch on the tv until 11am when we realised what had happened.

had to go MK sunday, so went early as the M1s allways a pisser for traffic! Doh road shut due to explosion, bugger, so managed to go via country lanes, then see the smoke about 9am ish!




tho got back on the M1 north bound at J9, and fast ford owners dream! But doh again as was in the Ka

Oh and then coming back tonight was going to have to come off the M1 a J10 but 5.40pm the reopened the M!, result, tho when driving past the area only then relised how close it was, and see the pics of the fire on the news it dont seem all that! Well seeing the flames / fire for real in the dark, put it in prospective, it was just emmence and unbeleivable!
