Default MAP sensor question.

think my map sensor has had it, as SECS monitor keeps saying
MAP input fail (i know it could be the monitor/connection)

but I have a brand new 3bar sitting here, (see if that cures it)

IS it ok to change the standard 2bar one straight to a 3bar?
or has the managment gotta be messed with?

thanks

Simon, will do!

the problem seems to be OFF throttle. if the car draws more than 14.8psi
VACUM then it says MAP sensor fail..

Sounds like your map sensor is drifting out of range.

I have one here you can have if you want it mate FOC.

(I presume its a standard 2.0 bar map sensor)
