yes.but the hub centre is bigger on the reno and thet stick out more.also they torque steer like a twat cos the offset is wrong and vauxhalls are very sensitive to this for some reason.

AS above...

you can, but it won't handle as well...

The offset effects your suspension gemotry in ways you can't eaily dial out (assuming the suspension is std ish stuff!).

Will fit, but in my experience it creates a lot more bump steer due to setting the centre line of the wheel in the wrong position relative to the steering arm, throwing out the geometry.

Chip,

I don't mean to be rude but do you have any automotive qualifications?

Not sure having a long tounge or being striagth makes you either an automotive industry profesisonal or a qulaified engineer.....

Very good point

could be carlton ones which are a totally different offset to astra/nova 49mm ones, or it could be 5 stud ones.

Steelies from a Reno 19 onto my new Vaux Cav 1.7TD....so i'm sure I can cope with the adverse torque steer

Basicly, the Cav I just got has crap tyres, the Reno19 has new ones....so want to swap them.

Would make life so much easier if I could just swap the wheels, rather than have to stick the 19 on axle stands, while i take the set of wheels down the garage for them to be swapped over......
