I don't see the point in going shooting for fun....... 
Not too bad if you actually eat it though. I've gone fishing and eaten stuff I've caught so I'd be a bit of a hypocrite if I condemned him as it's really one and the same

Don't get me wrong, I ain't no tree hugger type person and I squash flies and spiders, which i suppose could also be called sport when the little shits try to run/fly away
But killing something just so you can say "look at how good I am with my gun" or because you really enjoy killing stuff is stupid IMO.

You don't get what I was trying to say mate. It's not the fact that people enjoy the killing. BTW whenever I do go shooting it is made sure that everything that is killed is taken home and eaten, and the animals that aren't are taken to the local butchers..
It's a bit different when you havean organised shoot where, tofts who go out and kill 400 or so Pheasents, and all they're dooing it for is basically to kill.. Thats not on IMHO... When I go out It's a group of friends enjoying the day and couldn't give a toss about numbers
