You ever tried shooting? It's fecking difficult to hit the birds... Thats where the challenge is, so therefore a sport, I.e the bird has just as much chance of getting away as what you have of killing it, nothing to do with blood lust etc.
Killing for sport is wrong though mate, no matter how much of a challenge it is, IMO. Killing to eat it or killing because a species is destroying an area etc. I can accept.
Don't get me wrong, I ain't no tree hugger type person and I squash flies and spiders, which i suppose could also be called sport when the little shits try to run/fly away
But killing something just so you can say "look at how good I am with my gun" or because you really enjoy killing stuff is stupid IMO.
