Default help please escort cosworth flooding badly

ive got a car in today and have done a couple of small jobs on it including clutch cable,phase sensor and blue temp sensor.
came to restart it and it ran ok for a bit.came to restart it and it is flooding to death.great spark but cylinder are filling up with fuel.
any ideas please.

coolant temp sensor the one that is at the back of the head its got a injector looking plug its light blue .or map sensor

jay make sure the water temp sensor plug is on ok and make sure the wires have not pulled through on the connection plug

i had same prob once thats all it was

ive changed the sensor today,but im wondering if it could be faulty,although it was a gen ford item.but would it cause it to fill the cylinders with fuel?

make sure the wires on the plug jay have not pulled through a bit i had same prob the plug was on the temp sensor but there was no contact

yes it will cause it too over fuel badly if its faulty or if no contact

map sensor? check you haven't knocked the pipe off whilst changing the coolent sensor

im thinking coolant sensor may be at fault.ill check it tomorrow and maybe put the old one back in.ive never seen this before though where it fills up the pots on cranking.when checking for a spark the fuel from in the cylinder ignited!!!!!fook me!
he wants to go stage 3 tomorrow anyway so i may get the ecu checked,just to be safe when i get the greens,chip and map sensor from collins.
