 FOOKIN EBAY MESSERS!!!
I don't believe that I've been messed about again. This guy won the auction for my Escort cabby at a very knock down bargain price of £450. I was totally honest on the ad:
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...e=STRK:MESO:IT
and now he responds with:
>Re: Message from eBay Member Regarding Item #4594143596i have just asked a mechanic he said the wheel baring could cease up and as its a long way. theres no chance of me getting back home. plus you said the clutch was on its way out. if you didnt live that far away i would of got it. so im very sorry for your inconveniance. but i cant get it,
>good luck selling, sorry.
So I'm now sending him:
I'm sorry mate but you really should have checked this before bidding. The clutch still works and doesn't slip at all, it just feels a little high on the biting point. For all I know it might only want adjusting.
I'm going to be fair here and give you a chance to respond before I take the step of reporting you to ebay and possibly looking at legal action for the breaking of our contract. I will also have no choice but to leave negative feedback.

Why do people even bother? It says in the ad what's what. If he needed to go checking stuff then he should have done it before he placed a fookin bid
