...just fitted a capillary gauge on the Escos and from cold i see 80psi (not warmed the car up anymore yet!)...on my Saff i saw max 60psi...does this sound about right for cold oil pressure for a std oil pump and the uprated one?

my saff pump, standard pump it is, i see 60 to 65psi when cold at idle, and then when warm (above 40 celcius) i see 30psi when at idle.

max pressure i ever see is 65psi from 1500 revs upwards once fully warm

the V6 pump would see the best part of 60 psi cold but would drop to under 30 psi when fully hotted up

all figures are idle though, jabbing the throttle would see it come back up to around the 50 psi mark
