I don't use the CD on mine.
If you have XP installed, you should find the memory stick is detected as a "Removable Disk" if you go into "My Computer".
You can then copy and paste files/MP3's onto it without any other software needed (this is using the supplied cable)

to do it properly.
put the cd back in, and there is another program on it called disc2phone
its a file transfer program, that lets you change the mp3 to 92kbps. so it makes the file sizes smaller
how about reading the instruction book
