Considering it's Ł6 minimum for a car, tis debateable
But if it's started at the right price, and you're not too bothered what it goes for, not much reason why it wont sell, what is it anyway?

do you think it'll sell, even with no MOT + some welding needed undernieth?
the imperial blue paintjob isnt 100%
what would go for more, 99p start or 100 start?

Ł100 start would probably get no interest tbh given it's condition, I'd start it at 99p and if you're not too bothered, see what it goes for, or even put a res on it.

I'd say it'll definitely sell, I've sold some fucking sheds on eBay
As said above, start it at 0.99 and you'll get more interest, it may only sell for Ł50 but it's all money.

Without a V5, it's gonna cost the buyer another Ł20 for a new one if you can't find it, I bought an Escort Si without a V5, didn't realise the bastards now charge for it

Yes, you still have to pay the listing fee even if there are no bids. You won't pay a final valuation fee though.
If you have the luxury of not being desperate to get rid of it, why don't you wait for a 5p or 10p listing day. That way, you will be able to list it for next to nothing and if it doesn't sell, what have you lost - 10p and the time taken to list it!
as people have already said, it should sell - probably for under 100 notes. I wouldn't bother making a V62 application for a new V5 now as you have to pay a fee to DVLA for this. Think of it this way; whoever buys it is probably just going to bust it for parts in which case they won't really need the V5 and if they do, well, they'll just have to pay the fee to DVLA for it!
Make sure you get the buyer's name and address mate and let DVLA know in writing that you've transferred it, otherwise it will still be in your name.

But this is where it's all changed, you still need a V5 even if you scrap it as it has to be officially scrapped via the V5 to stop the current owner having to SORN it every year or tax it or get a fine, busting it for parts and gettnig rid of the shell is no exception.

That's why he needs to let DVLA know in writing that he's transferred it! They will accept a letter rather than the completed part of the V5 as I have done it many times.
Also, if the buyer scraps it, yes he should fill in the relevant part of the V5 to kill the car but it's his problem then. Last time I busted one without a V5 I filled in a notification of destruction from (v23). Don't know if this form still exists as it's a few years ago now.

Just checked my records and the form was referring to was a V860 Notification of Destruction, not a V23 (that's something totally different). As I say, don't know if this form is still around. Anyone know?
