timing marks

not a ford but does anybody no where the timing marks r for a vw golf/caddy 1.6 petrol engine 1988
any help would be good thanks

Can you bung up a pic of the engine?

I was sure theres an arrow on the lower timing cover and a dot on the Cam pulley

sorry no pic m8 camra broken but ill check that out monday m8 i took all covers of as i could not see alot
