As long as the wiper dont park in the middle of the sceen or go over a sunstrip you'll be ok.

Sure you can have a centre park wiper, the only stipulation is that is must continue to clear a certain percentage of your windscreen, not sure how much that is though, might be about 80% IIRC HTH

and as said, when stopped needs to be out of vision.....be that side, bottom etc

right I'll park it down the bottom rather than in the middle for the MOT then

The tip of the wiper blade goes near enough to the top of the screen so its sweeping as much as is possible

WTF is that about, so what if the wiper goes over the sun strip!! That must mean the sunstrip is to wide, not effecting the 'wiper rules'

I was moaned at by some MOT man before about it but had a hangover and didnt listen to much! Whats the deal!?

if the wiper is parked verticallly it will fail. with sunstrips aslong as they don't interfear with ur vision and line of sight u should be ok, wiper has to clear a suffiecent part of the screen aswell and shouldn't got into the sunstrip too much say 3 inchs at most i got a SWC and a SUNSTRIP and it should be fine for the MOT i just have it parked about 8 inchs up from the right hand side.



Here u go this is what my SWC looks like, cars changed a lot since then got ride of the lights, smoothed the bonnet, and taken that wiper spoiler off.

well all to thier own, i won't be doing it wen i get my RS but was something to playaround with on my car i got now, not sure about the sunstrip either been thinking about taking the silver writting of it.

Yeah they came on it and are coming of ASAP, lowering it 40mm and hope to get these alloys in about 2 months time. but with out the crappy red motosport writing around the edge

one of my old neighbours use to have a S1 and he had them wheels woith the crappy red writing and it looked THE BOLLOCKS imo

yeah i like them but the red writting looks shit, u can get them without the writting and more of the center red (upto the iner writting) they will be a right COOONT too keep clean and i live in the country but its got too be done.

Alot of Merc's have single wipers as standard and you can't tell me they look shit!

mercedes also loom good with a AMG badge, you would look a tosser with that on the car too

M3 wing mirrors are also cool on M3's,, not on a fiesta though
