Default Mondeo TDCI or TDDI?

My neighbour has given me the keys to his Mondeo whilst he is away and asked me to fix it. The turbo is shagged and i need to order a replacement. Problem is he is away and i can't get hold of him and the Turbo suppliers have asked me if its a TDCI or a TDDI Is there any way of knowing without me speaking to him?????
Cheers Spadge...

didnt he give you the keys

go look at it, this iassuming you are at home

will have either a boot badge or a badge on the engine stating this

not trying to patronise just help

alternatively it may have the power (ps) on the engine then you can look it up on the web, and find out which one it is

To be honest Spadge, I am gonna be fooking busy all day tomorrow. I have a lot on my plate.

I'll be totally honest and say I don't know a massive amount about these engines but I may be able to help a little. I am more familliar with this type of engine in the Transits.

If you still want to speak about it, let me know and I'll PM you a number.

Right does anyone want to tell me exactly how you are supposed to get to the centre bolts holding the exhaust manifold part of this turbo to the head

Don't even know what a TIS CD is Alex let alone have one

Surely the engine doesn't have to come out to fit a new turbo Ford quoted the bloke 200 quid for labour so i doubt that is the case!

Its a 2.0

The manual shows acess from the underside with the down pipe completely removed.

To get the turbo out, rotate it through 180 degrees and lift upwards!
