is a intel celeron mobile 1.5ghz on par / less or more powerful than a pentium 3 mobile 500mhz cpu ?

how does it stand against same pentium 3 but 866mhz ?

what are people thoughts on this ?

this would replace either a armada m700 p3 500mhz

or a evo n600c with a p3 866mhz procesor

would it get anywhere near as good as either of them ?

also to add its just to watch dvd's on, photoshop work and office work

no games except lemmings etc lol
