Im happy with the power its got

Going to run it at full boost now on optimax

your car is a credit to you it's a one off so well done mate
no matter what bhp you have got in it , it's still a very very quick car
and with your car you use it everyday as a rd car aswell as a track car how many people with big bhp cars do that you will find not many do
not matter what bhp you have got we all know it's a gen 640+ bhp rwd car without the nos

3 way shootout sounds like fantastic fun
although im not sure if its fair to force someone to run a particular fuel, after all if your CR etc is specced with the intention of running higher octane fuel and then the bar is lowered it just means that you are in a situation where you are in a competition that your engine wasnt built for.
Likewise if you know what you are doing there are certain things that you do differently to run an engine well on nitrous, that you wouldnt do the same if you were intending to run off nitrous, so again you are just being forced into using your engine in a way it wasnt intended.
If you really want to know what the engine itself is capable of shouldnt you all run "all motor" and not run the turbos?
To me thats equally as daft (having to run a low CR motor N/A) as building an engine with a particular fuel in mind then not being able to run it, likewise being banned from using nitrous when that was what the engine was built for.
To me Martin saying rod cant run nitrous is like Rod saying martin has to run hydraulic lifters, or only 4 injectors or run standard block height.

The way i see it is that all these cars are impressive at what they do and i believe what Karl tells me as i trust his engineering knowledge !!
I also believe that Rods car is very fast in a straight line which also deserves big respect. Its just the fact that we are all hammered with it when ever rod feels like it

How can you come out and slate a tuner when their customers car has been run on someone eleses rolling road with out them even being there. Only the rolling road should shoulder any blame as Daz paid for a proper run and that was the product he recieved - good or bad. Just because some have more experience than others on certain rollers, there are better ways to put things. As it was the product that Daz recieved its quite up to karl to put the graph up and leave it to interpretation.

Well its up to Rod and Daz of course, its certianly a daily use road car, so i guess its been specced with pump fuel in mind to a certain extent.
And i agree its a good leveller to all run the same fuel.
I cant see the point in them running at all though if its off gas, their cars are specced around using gas, so not running it is just not going to show its potential at all, as im sure that if him and mark were building an engine with the intention of running it without nitrous they would have specced it slightly differently in the first place, likewise if daz wanted to make all his power off gas im sure Karl would have used a bigger turbo and an even lower cr (or more revs), as an example i know for a fact that my own engines im speccing for someone currently i would have a much lower CR for a start if i was relying just on boost rather than on the gas too, and also i would have larger ports on the inlet side relative to the exhaust than i do currently, so taking a nitrous engine and removing the nitrous doesnt give a good impression of what they would have done if that was their aim to build an off gas motor. If that makes sense?
