They have taken time to come through Pops
Friends of mine in their 70's had them and then had to get the final parts of the visas but due to their age and trying to tie it in with the sale of their house, kept to-ing and fro-ing for more medicals as they were only valid for a couple of months at their age.
We have a depot in Brisbane and other than the weather, I dont rate it. Gold Coast rocks. Sydney has too many Brits IMO Adelaide too quiet although some good pubs there which are hard to find here but Melbourne rules
See you out here Pops

Is melbourne that good? We intend coming back over again in next couple of years. We have been to Cairns, Brisbane + Gold coast, Sydney and central coast(gosford newcastle etc) and Tazmania(best place but too cold)
We inted visiting Perth, Alice, and maybe darwin next time. And hopefully another trip to Taz... but for some strange reason never fancied Melbourne Perhaps well stop there on way to taz

its been 5 month 2 weeks since we submitted the main app's and at the time was told between 3 to 6 months then last week my agent told us they have moved the dates to 6 to 9 months so was a bit of a shock to get the email tonight.
will have been 2 years since we actually started the ball rolling to when we hope to be there, hardest bit was doing the trade papers. the rest was easy.
so lee if you do want to go out there mate,i can DEFO help you out with regards to the paper work, its piss easy when you have done it. but HARD as fook when you aint.
that top picture is where we want to go,smack bang in the middle of the lakes and sea.
will be like living at southend
