Default advice

need to know if ive been shafted.

my head went (oil seal broke and welded on to the head)
so got a stage 2 head, had that put on, but now the car just turns over whereas it started first time always.

RAC said its not turning over fast enough to start

could it be down to the cam??

this stage 2 head had done 300 miles but stood about a year.
could this be the problem?? it had no oil inside of it.

any help would be apreciated before she's garaged

Is there spark at the plugs and fuel at the injectors?

The KE jet sometimes gets airlocked if you break into it (like when fitting a cylinder head) and needs bleeding like a diesel fuel system. Crack all 4 injector pipes off on the meter head and get someone to crank it over while you watch for the air coming out. When it is just fuel flowin out, tighten the pipe and see what happens. You may need to do that several times. Mine had been in peices for 4 years and took a lot of fooking about to get all the air out of the system.
