Default another rolling road debate

just had my rs on the rollers and it made 131bhp and 146 lbft torque at 10psi which to me is not good for a fully rebuilt engine?

the plugs are coked tho so would that affect it?

any opinions?

It depends if its standard or not ...

Might help if you say the spec

And why would you put cooked plugs in a rebuilt engine lol ?

What advise did the rolling road operator give?

Was the car just power run or was it set up?

jimmy it wants setting up right mate take it to m.s.d and let kenny give it the once over, years ago mine made 181@fly with 179lb torque with 15 psi and just a boost chip and the fueling sorted , and uprated actuater, otherwise it was standard

The alarm bells are ringing. I have a horrible feeling we have a garage that just turns the boost without anything else. POwer figure for even those minimal mods should be more than that

i know this is my worry. i think its more my car than him cos he knows what hes doin and has a good rep. maybe a whole new bottom end is needed. i dont think it has been built well i only had it done cos it was cheap and its a temp thing. im uprating it all soon

he shouldent be running it at 15/20 with no chip and it will cut out at 10.5 psi ..the fueling has to match your boost otherwise ..bang.. weak mixture

first few things that will make it run better

1. take dump off if leaking

2. dissconnect bleed valve

3. get a new actuater from m.s.d

4. buy a boost gauge

5. set new actuater up to 7/9 psi

6. get fueling sorted

all above are just basic stuff that any good tunner will now
