melted 30a fan fuse

Default melted 30a fan fuse

i noticed my saph was getting a little hotter than norm so after a few checks i found my fuse for my fans has melted and the fans aren't cutting in!! and the reciving slot in the fuse box doesn't look healthy now,what has caused this???cheers in advance

Common prob mate........The fans overload the fusebox and melt it...

I wire my fans through a 40A relay direct to the battery and switch the relay with the fan switch(All correctly fused for safety of course)..

The only reliable way is a rewire. I used to make and sell looms to do repair or prevent this from happening which was an independant system.

After you have made a loom to repair the fault, it will take about an hour to fit. can do the whole job from start to finish in about 3.5 hours to the standard I used to make them but a lashed in affair would only take a couple of hours probably.

Yep mine's done this. New fans and new wires is the best thing.

As robbie - my headlights and fans are all relay'd seperately.
