Whats the procedure and whats the things i need to put a fiesta rst in my escort cabriolet mk5.

Only lots of people say its easier that a escort rst. Only im looking at a frst engine forsale, fully rebuilt ect.. and i want it. What do i need. Can i use my own gearbox? Loom? I need as much help as possible.. thanks guys

If the cab is efi already, it's dead easy!!!! If so, you can use your own loom, but you will need the ecu and map sensor (make sure they are both the same type, ofab/ofac) you can tell this by the map sensor, if it's flat and black it's ofac, if it looks like a cossie one(webber) it's ofab!!) So really you want the one for your type of loom!! You can use your box if you want.
Any turbo radiator/ intercooler combi will fit with a bit of wigglin about!! The only prob is the exhaust down pipe in fact you really need to go the t3 route straight away as that saves a lot of hassle, just make sure you make a heat shield for the crank sensor. The rest of it is just making intercooler and coolant pipes fit!!

Well, ill tell you a bit about the engine as it stands. Its a 1.4 cvh carb i think. It has the injector on the top... with the air filter on the top. Can i just buy this complete frst block, and take it somewhere, and they do the rest? I cant do it you see, i dont have the tools nor the knowledge. But what sorta cost you looking at? He wants Ł850 for the engine, which has been fully rebuilt with reciepts.

I just wanna buy the engine, take it somewhere and bring it out as a turbo. I cant be dealing with any more problems, i already have enough LOL. Or, cant i just turbo mine?
