Default Any glaziers out there?

Me and the missus are having an arguement about the door me and my old man put up today, more specifically the glass

On obscure glass is the raised pattern meant to be on the inside or outside?

i take it its a front door?
if so then the raised pattern shoulod be on the inside as that way the water will run off easlier and not get as dirty

Actually i think it depends on the door.

If its UPVC then it should be on the inside (facing the second layer of glass)

If its an oak or wood door then id say the outside like when you have leaded windows.

lucky you never fitted it then andy aint it
for a start if it was a upvc door it would have a sealed glass unit in it.so ofcourse it would be on the inside

and for another you do know oak is wood dont you
