radders i belive thatnthe cvh engine actually requires more fuel that a cossie engine so technically you would need blues sooner ( but then thats from listening to things ive been told off people ect

I stand by my comment, as up that hill in an Escort with 803s, he wouldn't pull more than 5500rpm in fourth. Short shifting will mean he will end up slap bang in peak torque in fifth and be loading the car at that peak boost longer than I would personally want. Revving the car harder will see the boost tailing off, rather than staying in the peak threshhold (where it is designed to be revved through pretty quickly ). So have that back .
