website upload help using cute ftp

Default website upload help using cute ftp

im trying to upload my dads website using cute ftp, it seems as though all has worked, i have deleted old site, and uploaded the new one.
in cute ftp i says the new files are on the site now, yet when i try it on the net it is still the old pages

it seems to connect ok, and transfer ok, yet i cant see the new pages...


any help asap please

also, if i go to ftp://ftp.bondageheaven.net/, it shows the new files, with only 5 pages, not the old one, witch had 9 pages... so why doesnt it work?

not clicking that link at work, lol

clear your cache'd files on your local PC, might just be that.

how would i do that chip?


the homepage is the old one , yet press page 2, page 3, + page 4, its the new-uns, then 5 6 is old-un etc

definately sounds like its just cached then mate.

what browser are you in?
(inter explorer or netscape or firefox etc)

almost certainly caching in internet explorer u can go to tools - internet options - then click on delete files!

Deal with loads of customers daily with this issue at work

im using explorer...


however... on my pc, it shows the old page (never accesed it before off my pc)


on my dads, it now shows both!!! on the homepage, its top half the old page, with the other stuck undernieth!!!

just goto the old page, hold down CTRL and press F5, should update

clear the cache as Al has mentioned, that should sort it.

deleted the cache'd files and then refreshed it
