Month by month insurance policies - who does them??
#2
i dont think any1 does a month policy... they consider it 2 much of a risk...
ur best bet is if you already have a policy with 1 company ask them for a tempoary additional car policy... or ask ur family or whoeva if they can do a temporary additional driver and additional car for a a month or so...hope that helps...

There used to be a Company that did them, I just cant remember who it is.
Not worth anyone else taking out a new annual policy for me, or indeed me taking out a new annual policy in my own name as most have a 40% cancellation clause, and I only need cover for 1 month, after that the car will most likely be scrapped.

Hmmm just found a site called Dayinsure.com who can cover me from 1 to up to 28 days but they dont take into account what car it is, just that its between insurance categories 1-17, so it'd cost me £130 just for a months cover

Lancaster dont.
HIC do, which is fab, but for an annual policy that will cost £157, they want £80 deposit, then have agreed I can cancel after 1 month without penalty............. but this means it'll cost me £80 for one months insurance on a shed of a car - I dont think so!
Will try CIS, ta

what you could do, is what i did for my RST, basically get someone who you know and is insured, insure your car on their policy for a temp period, (with Elephant.co.uu it cost me £10 per month os summit) and maybe chuck yourself down as a named driver for a month or so, maybe cost less i dont know but maybe worth a try?
