Its just the holes drilled a little bigger judging by that picture.

Its only a very minor change you need to make for antilag anyway mate, nothing very sophisicated, just needs to be able to flow more air on the throttle bypass.

if you want anti lag mate dont bother to do anything with the std body as the modified iscv is so ooooooooo un reliable, just fit an after market air bypass valve and modify the plenum slightly to suit, takes fook all time , or you can even utilise two valves and have two stage ALS - works like a treat . i also believe idle values can now be mapped for als and for idle speed use

As per Gareth, wouldnt flow a huge amount.

Mine had one massive oval hole rather than 2 circles like that

just what i meant phil, very un-reliable - at the best - it will work - intermittantly, in the middle the ign will retard and there will be no airfow , the worst - ( and im sure tim finch will back me up on this) the end will come unscrewed ( the cap head) and the bolt will fook the engine completely - and i am talking pukka valves as well not shabby home made items

We can modifiy the standard valves so they are 100% reliable . However, they will only give mild ALS due to not as much airflow as the Mountune items. If you want mental ALS, you can run two of our valves (see Gareth Lloyd's Escort Cosworth!).

yours isnt an als valve phil,it needs the metal removed from in bettween the two holes, not as easy as you think either, its not just a drill job.as mark says the modified valves can break and the little bolt goes through your engine,i had this on a mountune one at the start of the year, not good,if you use a very good locktight though and the correct bolt (thats the important part) you should have no problem,

mine works 100% on my new car and is the loudest anti lag ive ever heard,on my old car you could get away with it at certain venues away from the main controls but with this one it sounds like anti aircraft guns going off.
